SIA Solutions has an established depot level maintenance facility which facilitates repairs on modules to component level at a guaranteed 4-week turnaround time. Customers are offered a two-year guarantee and an attractive, low cost maintenance package thereafter. We stock a variety of spare modules and large quantities of components while our trained service personnel come with a sound knowledge of repairing complex electronic boards and on site systems.

Equipment supplied is highly reliable (MTBF exceeding 120 000 hours) with an exceptionally low life cycle cost. Maintenance is facilitated by the comprehensive BITE (built in test equipment) incorporated in it the Remote Control, Monitoring and Maintenance System (RCMMS), a system locally developed for the ATNS Company Limited. The majority of faults can be rectified by this remote system operating off a PC and modem. Our Pretoria base operates off a RCMMS via which all monitoring and maintenance of all navigation and Instrument Landing Systems for the SA Air Force, ATNS (Air Traffic and Navigation Services Company) and ACSA (the Airports Company South Africa) can be executed.

Navigation systems supported by SIA Solutions include: Very High Frequency Omni-directional Radio ranging (VOR) and Doppler VOR (DVOR) Beacons, Distance Measuring Equipment (DME), as well as Instrument Landing Systems (ILS).
